A 30 year old Benrinnes bottled by Signatory Vintage as Symington's Choice. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2025, with a second fill PX hogshead finish, cask number 101. The strength is 49.1%, in a 70cl bottle, and 345 bottles were filled.
The nose is deep, with dried figs, caramelised nuts, cocoa powder and a hint of polished leather. The palate is rich and velvety, with dark chocolate, espresso, stewed red fruits and baking spices, balanced by gentle oak tannins.
The finish is long and warming, with dried fruits, mocha, sweet spice and a delicate nuttiness.
