This is a 15-year-old Singleton single malt from the 2022 Special Releases, bottled at 54.2% ABV. Eight years of its maturation were spent in wine casks, and it shows a deep amber colour in the glass.
The aroma brings red wine, oak spice and fruit. On the palate, barley-sugar sweetness is balanced by salt and crisp gooseberry, and the whisky stays smooth throughout. It ends on a peppery note of soft spice.
