Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch matured for 12 years and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is medium to full bodied, with a fruity Speyside richness.
The nose combines polished wood and toasted hazelnut with baked apples, sweet dates and soft brown sugar, and a sweeter note of pear drops comes through with water. On the palate there are crunchy nuts, brown sugar and espresso coffee, with a light acidity balancing the sweetness. The finish is medium to long, crisp and drying, ending in a sweetly nutty chew.
