Singleton of Glendullan 19 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the 2021 Special Release series, bottled at 54.6%. Its colour is that of 18 carat gold.
The nose has dried figs and apricots, crystallised angelica and orange peel, with light fruitcake and vanilla marzipan. A drop of water brings out butter and spice.
The palate is soft, smooth and full-bodied, oaky and dry at first, then ripe green apple, grape spirit and sweet coconut. The finish is long and warming, sweet and lightly spiced with ginger and a touch of smoke.
