Slane Triple Casked is an Irish blended whiskey from Slane Distillery, rooted in the Boyne Valley in County Meath. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour.
The whiskey is matured in three kinds of cask: virgin oak, previously used oak and sherry casks. The contributions of each are brought together in the blend.
The nose combines sweet oak and barley with caramel and a light touch of ginger. The palate is soft, with fruity jam notes, sweetness and wood in balance. The finish is lasting, with toasted notes and oak spice.
