Smokehead Extra Rare is a peated Islay single malt, bottled at 40% on 29 May 2018 and sold in a 1 litre bottle. The nose opens with strong smoke, ash and salt, followed by vanilla and light spice. On the palate come rich peat smoke, black pepper and toasted oak, with a gentle sweetness behind them. The finish is long and intense.
