Smokehead Original is an Islay single malt bottled at 40%. It is built around intense peat smoke, set against sea salt, sweetness and warm spice, with toasted oak from bourbon casks on the palate.
The nose brings strong smoke and earthy peat with fresh lemon, ginger and plum jam. On the palate, pepper and brine meet honey sweetness. The finish is long and smoky, with exotic spice and mandarin before the peat returns, leaving a coastal freshness.
