Smoking Islay is a ten-year-old blended malt made from Islay whiskies. It matured in a bourbon cask and was then finished in an Amontillado sherry cask. Only 120 bottles were filled, for Liquors Hasegawa in Tokyo. It is described as one for lovers of fine Islay smokiness, with the sherry finish adding a refined edge.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
