Spatburgunder Trocken Selbach Olster

A dry red wine from Selbach Olster, made from Pinot Noir, known in Germany as Spätburgunder. It shows cherry, raspberry, vanilla, white pepper and earthy notes on the nose, with soft tannins and fresh acidity on the palate. Red fruit returns, joined by liquorice and tobacco. Careful vinification gives a velvety texture, suited to meat, aged cheese and game dishes.
