Spey 10 Year Old Trilogia (46%)

Spey Trilogia 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt that draws together the three styles of the Latin range: Trutina, Tenné and Fumare. It was matured for ten years in ex-bourbon American oak casks and first-fill tawny port casks, and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or added colour. The nose opens with honey, apples and red berries, with a trace of smoke, vanilla and oak beneath. On the palate come honey sweetness, vanilla, red fruit and warming spices alongside delicate peat smoke. The finish holds a lasting fruit sweetness and a soft, lingering note of smoke.
