This is an 18-year-old single malt from Speyside Distillery, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2024 from a single bourbon cask.
The nose combines spicy wood with berries and kiwi, over a fine thread of peat smoke. On the palate a gentle sweetness comes with delicate spices, nougat and roasted almonds. The finish is soft and long, with peat smoke lingering to the end.
