Spey 18 Year Old Limited Release is a single malt from Speyside Distillery in Scotland, bottled at 46% ABV. It has matured in sherry casks since 1998, and only 1,500 bottles were filled.
The nose is fresh fruit salad, walnuts, whipped cream and dark dried fruits. On the palate there is homemade fudge, ripe apples and pears, and a balanced sweetness. The finish is long, with vanilla and dark chocolate.
