Spey 18 Years Old is a Speyside single malt matured in fresh sherry casks. It is a limited release of 1,500 bottles, non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fruity, sweet and malty, with juicy peach and freshly baked apple. The palate is sweet, creamy and full-bodied, with sultanas, Granny Smith apples and pear drops over a base of nuts and fresh cream. The finish is long and elegant, the fruit fading gradually to leave a silky richness with subtle woody and spicy notes.
