Speyburn – 10 Year Old (70cl)

Speyburn 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, sold in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for a decade in a combination of American oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry, including Oloroso. In the glass it is pale gold with amber glints. The nose is fresh and clean, with lemon, orange, tangerine and cooking apple, then a touch of oak, mint and spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with soft malt, sweet toasted barley, caramel, liquorice and dried herbs. The finish is long and sweet.
