A ten-year-old Dailuaine from Speyside, released by James Eadie in 2024 at 48.3%. After its main maturation it spent eleven months finishing in Oloroso sherry hogsheads made from European oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Stewed plums and rhubarb on the nose come with dark chocolate, raisins, cardamom and cinnamon, and a hint of old leather. The palate is soft and velvety, with juicy plums, nectarines and melted almond butter, then cinnamon, clove and brandy snaps. The finish recalls rich dark chocolate pudding with a touch of chilli, cardamom and aniseed.
