This is a single cask Balmenach from the Spirit of Scotland range, produced and bottled by James Gordon Whisky & Co Ltd, part of the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 61.5%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, and 278 bottles were filled.
The nose is sweet, with blackcurrant and dried fruit. On the palate, demerara sugar develops alongside a hint of black pepper.
