SRV5 is a blended malt from Thompson Bros., bottled at over 8 years old. The name comes from Station Road Vat no. 5, the vat in the company's bonded warehouse on Station Road where the blend rests after vatting.
Batches are limited to 800 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring. It is described as a bright, fresh spirit with plenty of texture and a hint of smoke.
