Stork Club Full Proof is a rye whiskey from Spreewood Distillers in Germany, bottled at a cask strength of 55% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The rye matured in virgin American oak, German oak and ex-wine and ex-Oloroso sherry barrels.
The nose is spicy with rye, vanilla, dried fruit and a hint of sherry. The palate is full and intense, with peppery heat, oak and sweet notes from the wine and sherry casks. The finish is long, warm and slightly dry, with spicy and fruity undertones.
