Stork Club Rye Malt Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Stork Club Rye Malt Whiskey is a German rye malt whiskey made by Spreewood Distillers in Schlepzig, in the Spreewald. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour. The mash uses three German rye malts from Weyermann in Bamberg: pale, caramel and chocolate. The whiskey matures in individually toasted casks of fresh American and German Napoleon oak, along with former sherry casks, and the distillery marries the different cask groups before bottling. Cinnamon, toffee and vanilla lead the nose. On the palate come dark chocolate, cherry and candied walnut, and the finish brings peach and spicy rye.
