Stork Club Straight Rye is a German rye whisky from Spreewood Distillers in Brandenburg, bottled at 55%. It is made from 100% rye and distilled in a small 100-litre hybrid still.
The spirit is matured in ex-bourbon casks and German white wine casks.
The nose is light and fruity, with citrus, pear, rye bread, green herbs and oak. On the palate, honey, vanilla and oak sit in balance with herbal touches of dill and basil. The finish is long and spicy, ending on a light herbal note.
