Stork – Rye Malt Whisky

Stork Rye Malt Whisky comes from the Stork distillery in the Spreewald, Germany, which has been distilling whisky since 2004. Rye grown in the surrounding countryside is a hallmark of the distillery. Stork fills its whiskies into the chosen maturation cask from the start, instead of finishing them in a second cask after several years in fresh oak or ex-bourbon wood. The aim is for the spirit to take on the character of that cask more fully.
