This is a 36 year old Strathclyde single grain Scotch whisky from Glasgow, in the Lowlands, bottled by Thompson Bros. at 41% in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has an amber colour without added colouring. The label carries a vintage-style yellow map showing historic tram and bus routes of Glasgow.
The nose offers vanilla, ripe peach, toasted banana and light citrus. The palate is soft and full, with coconut, plum and fine herbal spice. The finish is long, with molasses and sweet spice reminiscent of old rum.
