Strathmill – 16 Year Old 2009/2025 Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Refill Bourbon Barrel (57.1%)

This is a 16 year old Strathmill single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range. It matured in a refill bourbon barrel, cask 802557, and comes at a cask strength of 57.1%. The outturn was 211 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose combines citrus, bright apple and green grass. On the palate there is ripe pear, cocoa powder, pepper and grapefruit, and the long finish brings ripe mango with light herbal notes.
