A 19 year old Speyside single malt from Strathmill, distilled in July 2007 and bottled by North Star Spirits as Cask Series 028. It matured in a single hogshead that previously held Pedro Ximenez sherry. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. Strathmill is known for a light, fruity Speyside malt, and here the cask has produced a rich whisky with notes of muscovado sugar, stewed fruits and liquorice.
