This is a 24-year-old Strathmill from the Speyside distillery, distilled in 1993 and bottled by Cadenhead's in its Small Batch series. It is a vatting of two bourbon hogsheads, bottled at 50.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 354 bottles.
On the nose there is ripe apple, peach, soft vanilla and light floral notes, with malt and a little spice. The palate is full, with stone fruit, honey, biscuit and a creamy bourbon-cask character. The finish is long and dry, with lingering fruit and soft oak.
