Strathmill – 2006 Connoisseurs Choice Gordon & MacPhail

Strathmill 2006 is a Speyside single malt from the distillery at Keith, distilled in 2006 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. Connoisseurs Choice is the independent bottler's series of single malts from distilleries across Scotland, both well known and less familiar. The nose is ripe orchard fruit, sweet malt and vanilla, with gentle spice and oak. On the palate come apples and pears, creamy vanilla and malt sweetness, with warming spice and oak adding structure. The finish is balanced and warming, with lingering fruit, malt, spice and oak.
