Strathmill – 2007-2026 19 Year Old North Star Spirits Series 28 (70cl, 56.9%)

This is a 19 year old Speyside single malt from Strathmill, bottled by North Star Spirits as Series 28, released for the independent bottler's 10th anniversary. It was distilled in December 2007 and bottled in July 2026, in a 70cl bottle at 56.9% ABV. The whisky matured in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead and is bottled without chill filtration or added colour. Only 358 bottles were filled. The nose is rosewood, Chesterfield leather and sherry-soaked almonds. The palate is thick and oily, with liquid liquorice tablet. The finish is a sweet fruit bowl stewed with dark muscovado sugar.
