Strathmill – 2015 11 Year Old Little Brown Dog (54.6%)

This is an 11 year old Strathmill from Keith in Speyside, bottled by Little Brown Dog from a single cream sherry hogshead. It was distilled in April 2015 and bottled in July 2026 at a cask strength of 54.6% ABV, with natural colour and no chill-filtering. The outturn is 286 bottles. The sherry influence is gentle rather than heavy, and the label pays tribute to the wagtail of the old F&F series. The nose brings old oak furniture, rowan jelly and Grand Marnier. Vanilla custard doughnut, pink grapefruit and port glaze follow on the palate, and the finish recalls Sancerre, pear soda and mace.
