This is a 35 year old Strathmill single malt from Claxton's Warehouse No. 8 series. It was distilled on 18 March 1988 and bottled in the summer of 2024, after maturing in an Oloroso sherry octave cask. Only 64 bottles were filled.
The nose brings barley sugar sweets, citrus, bitter orange and a touch of herbs. The palate is very malty and rounded, with sweet oak and malted barley. The finish is soft and elegant, with a herbal note that lingers.
