Stronachie 10 Year Old, Dewar Rattray

A ten year old single malt from the Stronachie range, bottled by the independent Scottish bottler Dewar Rattray, also known as A.D. Rattray. Dewar Rattray was founded in 1868, with Andrew Dewar as one of its two founders. Tim Morrison, a fourth generation descendant of Andrew Dewar, bought the company in 2004. Between 1989 and 1991 he had already acquired a large number of casks from 12 different distilleries, and these remain the cornerstone of the business. The house is known for personal, often slightly smoky whiskies.
