Suntory Hakushu 18 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from the Hakushu distillery, set among the forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Southern Japanese Alps. Hakushu is described as a fresh, gently smoky whisky with herbal notes, made with soft, crisp mountain water.
This 18 year old is silky and floral, with ripe pear, dried mint and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and pleasantly smoky.
