Suntory Hakushu Distillers Reserve (70cl)

Hakushu Distillers Reserve is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Hakushu distillery, set in the forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Southern Japanese Alps. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is light gold in colour and is described as green and fresh, with a crisp, vibrant feel and a gentle herbal smokiness. The nose brings peppermint, melon and cucumber. On the palate there are yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme. The finish is long and refreshing, with a hint of smoke at the end.
