Suntory Old Whisky Horse is a Japanese whisky from the Suntory Old series, released to celebrate the Year of the Horse. The series first appeared in 1950, when it was considered the classiest of all the whiskies Suntory made. The nose has marmalade and varnish, with faint earth and undergrowth behind them. On the palate there is caramel, with some grainy harshness and a touch of plastic, though both are somewhat held back.
