Suntory Old Whisky Tiger is a Suntory release made to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. Suntory Old is a series of especially mature whisky first released in 1950, with new bottles appearing only occasionally. The nose is typically described as marmalade and varnish, with faint earth and undergrowth. On the palate there is caramel, with grainy harshness and a touch of plastic showing through, though somewhat suppressed.
