Suntory Pure Malt 8 Year Old is a Japanese whisky bearing an eight-year age statement. The bottling was chosen from more than 160 casks of pure malt. The company behind it is said to be the oldest whisky maker in Japan. Torii Shinjiro founded it in 1899 as a small shop specialising in imported wines, and it has since grown into the country's largest and most recognisable whisky producer.
