Suntory Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Yamazaki distillery, established in 1923 by Suntory's founder, Shinjiro Torii, at the foot of Mount Tenno outside Kyoto.
The whisky is aged for 12 years in a mix of ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry and Japanese oak casks. It was first released in 1984 and is Suntory's flagship single malt.
