Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara is a Japanese single malt made in honour of the Suntory Whisky centenary. It is aged for a minimum of 18 years in Mizunara casks only, and the Mizunara oak is regarded as the signature enhancer of Yamazaki.
The colour is reddish amber. The nose is rich, with dark cherry and ripe peach over cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is subtly spiced with undertones of Japanese incense. The finish is long, with clove, sandalwood and hints of dried coconut.
