Yamazaki 18 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Yamazaki, described as Japan's first and oldest malt distillery. It combines components aged in American, Spanish and Japanese Mizunara oak, and was matured for 18 years in sherry butt casks.
Deep amber in colour, it has fruit and Mizunara aromas. The palate is smooth, with rich fruit, silky malt and a touch of smoke. The finish is long, spicy and smooth.
