Super Nikka Rare Old is a blended Japanese whisky from Nikka, in a 70cl bottle. It was first released in 1962 as a tribute from Masataka Taketsuru to his late wife Rita, who had died the previous year.
It is one of Nikka's classic brands in Japan. The style is balanced, with a subtle fruit character, a light influence of peat, and delicate notes of vanilla and sherry.
