Taconic Double Barrel Maple Bourbon Whiskey is a limited edition bourbon made in collaboration with Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse.
Used bourbon barrels go to the sugarhouse, where they are filled with organic grade A maple syrup. After a few months the syrup is bottled and the barrels return to the distillery. They are then refilled with bourbon, which spends a few more months taking up the sweetness left in the wood.
