Taconic Dutchess Private Reserve Bourbon

Dutchess Private Reserve is a bourbon from Taconic Distillery, made for sipping and described as easygoing and consistent from start to finish. The nose is fairly sweet, with corn, cereal grain and vanilla. On the palate it is very smooth, with more vanilla, honey and a malty sweetness. The finish is warm and pleasant, lingering without outstaying its welcome. With ice it turns chewier, the grain flavours become more pronounced and the finish shortens and sharpens.
