Takamaka Grankaz Rum Batch 3 (70cl)

A blended rum from the Seychelles, made by brothers Richard and Bernard d'Offay. It combines pot still rum distilled from Seychelles sugar cane juice, aged two to four years in New French Oak casks, with column still rum distilled from molasses, aged three years in bourbon casks. Eight-year-old Foursquare rum is also included. The rum is neither sugared, coloured nor chill-filtered. It is presented in a 700 ml bottle. The aroma brings light floral notes, ripe pear and a hint of dried figs. On the palate there are soft honeyed notes with tobacco, vanilla and orange peel. The finish is warm and spicy, with oak tones.
