Talisker 10 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, double distilled and aged for a minimum of 10 years in American oak casks. It has a maritime, coastal character, with a smoky-sweet profile and a peppery finish.
The colour is a brilliant gold and the body full and rich.
On the nose there is powerful peat smoke, a hint of sea salt like fresh oysters and a citrus sweetness. The palate brings dried-fruit sweetness, strong barley malt and clouds of smoke, with pepper at the back of the mouth. The finish is long, warming and peppery, with an appetising sweetness.
