Talisker – Storm Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

Talisker Storm is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, made at the island's oldest distillery, which has been producing whisky by the sea since 1830. It comes in a 750ml bottle and is described as the darker, smokier and more brooding member of the Talisker range, with notes of wood, brine and spice. The nose is powerful and fresh, with sweet maltiness and ripe red berries moving to smoke, brine and pepper. The palate is mellow and rich, then very spicy, with a coating sweetness and nutty smokiness. The finish is drier and of medium length, with light peaty burnt embers in the aftertaste. It can be taken neat or with a little water.
