Talisker 10 Year Old is the island single malt in the Classic Malts series. It has a coastal, spicy and peaty character, and its following has grown as more drinkers come to it.
The nose combines powerful peat smoke, sea-water saltiness, the liquor of fresh oysters and a citrus sweetness. The body is full. On the palate, rich dried-fruit sweetness meets clouds of smoke and strong barley-malt flavours, warming and intense, with a burst of pepper at the back of the mouth.
The finish is long and warming, peppery, with a sweetness running through it.
