This is Talisker 10 Year Old, a single malt from the Islands, bottled by the distillery at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines peat smoke and malt with an elegant spiciness and a fine sweetness. On the palate it is intense and complex, with brown sugar, a little iodine, peat and malt, and a light pepperiness. The finish is long and strong.
