A 25 year old single malt from Talisker on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture, cider apples and a whiff of Frazzles, held together by crumbly fudge. On the palate, floral heather and perhaps a hint of rose give way to heavier salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoky barley and nectarines. The finish turns sweet from smoke, with an undercurrent of cedar.
