This is the 2024 release of Talisker 30 Year Old, a single malt from the Islands, matured in American oak casks. It was bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 49.5% in a 70cl bottle, and 2610 bottles were filled.
The notes describe red apple, stone fruit, pecan fudge, wood spice, vanilla pods, white pepper and dark chocolate, with Talisker's gentle peppery kick and sea smoke. The finish is warm and lingering, with toffee and maritime hints.
