Talisker 41 Year Old is a single malt from the Bodega Series, distilled in 1978 and matured in oak before a finish in Manzanilla casks. It was bottled at cask strength, 50.7% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 2000 bottles.
The nose is salty and sweet, with fine smoke, orange, oak and caramel. Light smoke, pepper, oak, sweet berries and caramel follow on the palate, and the finish is long and smoky.
