Talisker – 8 Year Old Legends Untold Special Release 2021 (70cl, 59.7%)

Talisker 8 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 59.7% in a 70cl bottle as part of the Legends Untold Special Release 2021. It is described as a straight, classic Talisker with a direct and bold nature, bottled at the age at which Talisker was traditionally bottled. The nose is mild at first, with sweet maritime top notes and an early hint of porridge oats. Briny seaweed, crystal salt and iodine follow, on a base of mountain smoke. A drop of water softens it and increases the maritime character.
